Texas Invitational Tournament Continues With Bracket and Pool Play

During day two of the McDonald’s Texas Invitational high school basketball tournament, boys’ teams started bracket play and girls finished pool play. Here is a recap of the games that happened at South Houston High School.

Chavez lost against South Houston with a score of 33 to 55. South Houston moved into division 2 Bronze championship semi-final: while Chavez moved to consolation semi-final.

Later on south Houston played against Pasadena Memorial at Phillips Field House with a score of 58 to 29 to take a spot at the championship finals

Spring Branch takes the win against Deer Park with a score of 50 to 40. Spring Branch moved into division 2 silver championship semi-final: while Deer Park moved to consolation semi-final.

Mansfield Summit lost against Fort Bend Elkins with a score of 35 to 44. Fort Bend Elkins moved into division 1 Gold championship semi-final: while Mansfield Summit moved to consolation semi-final.

In pool play South Houston lady Trojans lost against Cypress Wood with a score of 36 to 57.

Plano East took the win against McKinney with a score of 62 to 56. Plano East moved into division 1 Bronze championship semi-final, while McKinney moved to consolation semi-final.

Richardson lost against Katy Morton Ranch with a score of 64 to 72. Katy Morton Ranch moved into division 1 silver championship semi-final, while Richardson moved to consolation semi-final.

Allen Eagles takes the win against Sam Houston with a score of 63 to 52. Allen Eagles moved into division 1 gold championship semi-final, while Sam Houston moved to consolation semi-final.

Day 3 of the McDonald’s Texas Invitational is happening at south Houston high school November 17 with the girls division 1 and the boys division 2. The first game will start at 9 a.m., and the last game starts at 3 p.m.
