Trojans burned the bulldog during the pep rally and bonfire in the evening of Oct. 6. NJROTC students built the bonfire by piling pallets of wood and on top of that a pi ata of a bulldog. The bonfire was held on the athletic field behind the school. While the Might Trojan Band played, the Jannettes performed, Cheerleaders also did their routines, followed by NJROTC students who presented the colors. “The bonfire was a great time, and you can tell lots of preparation was put into it. Hanging out with my friends, taking pictures of the bonfire with my friends. I enjoyed it a lot.” Senior Sarah Meyer said.

The bonfire and pep rally ended a day of the school’s 60th anniversary celebrations, that included the Red Rally parking lot carnival and Hall of Honor induction.
